I am an Event Designer, and I put together a weekly post as part of my series, “The Sparkle Queen Events”. Each week a concept that I’ve designed is featured in detail on my site. The elements that make up these events are a combination ideas and images I’ve found all over the internet. I piece them together and turn them into a beautiful, coherent event concept.

This is a link to the direct post:
http://sparklysharpandfabulous.blogspot.com/2012/11/navy-blue-and-copper-fall-wedding.html

Links to your site have been included in the post for my viewers to find easier! This event will be shared and showcased not only on my blog, but also on my social media accounts such as Pinterest, Facebook, Twitter, etc.. , I’d love to connect pages via social media, so I can showcase your item and share it better with my followers.

I hope you get a chance to see the post!

<3 The Sparkle Queen from sparklysharpandfabulous.blogspot.com
Alessandra from A Sparkly Life for Mehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/05964475933194880965noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5529476945299310517.post-30049667379817535322012-03-25T00:16:51.443-05:002012-03-25T00:16:51.443-05:00What is the width of your ribbon? What is the width of your ribbon?Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5529476945299310517.post-73423872109380522822012-02-03T20:05:34.649-06:002012-02-03T20:05:34.649-06:00wow! wow wow .that all I could say looking at it.

I think though if I were planning on making them pop side up, and sticking them into Styrofoam I would use the 6" sticks and press them an inch or two into my base. A few things here. Did you use food co...Snuffles,

A few things here. Did you use food coloring? If so was it the special candy food coloring? If you use regular gel food coloring, the candy melts can seize up a bit and create a really thick mess.

Also, candy melts are a bit like chocolate, if you heat them too fast or on too high of heat, they can seize up as well. So make sure to heat them low and slow, it might be more of a pain in the butt, but you won't run the risk of over heating them. Also, you will have to reheat and reheat to keep the hot, melty consistency, just be sure to do it gently. I would go on 50% power until you get a feel for it.

Disclaimer: I am not an expert, but I have had this same thing happen to me. Always buy more candy melts than you think you need in case you get any seizing.

Hope this helps! Let me know how they turn out!Briahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/06221475667151375694noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5529476945299310517.post-80464293765673753002010-09-09T12:01:43.640-05:002010-09-09T12:01:43.640-05:00I attempted these and they were very well received...I attempted these and they were very well received, however, mine were not nearly as attractive as yours. I did alright, but the main thing I had trouble with was the consistency of the candy melts. I think my cake balls may have been a bit on the large side to begin with, which may also have contributed to my pops decapitating themselves whenever I tried to fully submerge them, however, the candy melts did seem to be a bit on the thick side anyways, even though I consistently melted and re-melted them as directed. Any suggestions? I'm giving it another go today, regardless! :)Shannonhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/16791513252015764680noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5529476945299310517.post-13626472974944262742010-07-28T09:00:11.466-05:002010-07-28T09:00:11.466-05:00Anonymous, Thank you so much! Also, you should get about 50-60 cake balls out of one box to make them the size that I do. Mine fell apart the first time I made them too, practice helps a lot with these guys.

Tiffany,

You can either order them online from wilton.com or go to any craft store such as Joann Fabrics or Micheal's, they both have large cake decoration/candy making aisles these days!Briahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/06221475667151375694noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5529476945299310517.post-90024498793155938062010-07-12T00:14:58.213-05:002010-07-12T00:14:58.213-05:00Wow these cake pops are so adorable!
